The Art of Business is a unique initiative designed by Business Council for the Arts to develop corporate employee skills and techniques for dynamic innovation, enhanced productivity and creative problem solving.
Through a series of workshops utilizing arts based methodologies, this program brings together the driving force of corporate America with the creative spirit and talents of the cultural arts to generate cognitive and innovative solutions in the workplace.
Experienced corporate trainers who are also skilled, professional artists and cultural historians facilitate the workshops. Each workshop is designed specifically for the individual corporation, in collaboration with executive managers, to reach a strategic business goal.
Among the Art of Business workshops are:
- Overcoming the Silo Effect, improving cross-functional teamwork, communication, and trust
- Thinking Outside the Box, increasing a team’s focus on and ownership of a plan for change in providing client service
- Understanding Today’s Workforce, developing a strategic plan for recruitment and retention. These workshops are particularly beneficial to such internal units as research and development, sales, customer service, and marketing.
Global competition and technology changes place a new premium on innovation and quick response in business. The Art of Business can tap into the full potential of your most important asset — the intellectual capital of your team.
