BCA is excited to launch a brand new program designed to help your organization connect with and energize business professionals in North Texas. Lunch is the perfect time to ignite the interest of companies and their employees through presentations that showcase the unique attributes of your organization.
About BCA Lunch and Learn
BCA Lunch and Learn is a new initiative of Business Council for the Arts (BCA) that offers interactive arts/cultural activities to business professionals during the lunch hour at their workplace.
What is its purpose?
Our goal is to build audiences for the arts from within businesses. Studies show that stimulating interest in the arts and enriching individuals’ experiences of art, particularly through arts learning, cultivates demand.* We will be assessing this program for its ability to increase engagement with the arts by the business sector.
Who is the targeted audience?
Employees at companies throughout North Texas. We believe that reaching into our regional businesses and sparking employee awareness of arts and culture will lead to more attendance and involvement.
Why should I participate?
Business Council for the Arts wants to help develop new audiences for arts and culture. We know that many business professionals have past engagement in the arts, and that interactive activities are most likely to re-energize that interest. In addition to your interactive presentation, you may bring marketing materials; distribute a sign-up sheet for newsletters; gain students for private lessons or promote upcoming events.
How can my arts/cultural organization participate in BCA Lunch and Learn?
This opportunity is open to all not-for-profit organizations in North Texas. There is no fee or membership necessary. Fill out this form and submit it to Business Council for the Arts.
How does BCA Lunch and Learn work?
BCA will compile all returned forms to create an arts menu. Each company will be able to select the presentation(s) they want to offer to their employees. BCA will finalize the date and details with you, such as location and venue accommodations and you will follow up from there. This is a new initiative, and we will be assessing the success of each program for both the business and the arts organizations involved.
