The 3rd-annual ARTsPARK, presented by NorthPark Center in partnership with Business Council for the Arts, will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from noon to 4 p.m.
This FREE, one-day event features 100 arts and cultural organizations from Dallas, Collin, Denton and Tarrant counties coming together to encourage citizens to make art a part of their everyday lives. There will be opportunities to learn a new creative skill, hone a talent, join a like-minded group, volunteer for a favorite art form and explore what makes North Texas a great place to live. Special live performances, programs and demonstrations will take place throughout the one-day event.
ARTsPARK is a unique opportunity to learn about a wide range of regional arts and cultural organizations all under one roof. The goal of ARTsPARK is to promote knowledge of and participation in the many forms of art and culture available in the North Texas area. Arts and culture includes visual art, music, theatre, dance, film/video/animation and museums.
